Dr. Jerry Christopher is currently serving as the Executive Director of Missions for Fannin Baptist Association in Bonham, Texas. After mentoring pastors and church leaders for the past several years, he recently felt called to become more proactive in individual, congregational, team, and organizational coaching.  This passion led to starting his own coaching firm, Amaxa Leadership.

Dr. Christopher has an Executive and Professional Coaching Certification from the University of Texas School of Management Graduate Executive Coaching Program.  This certification along with his certification through the Internatioal Coaching Federation (ICF) provides solid and reputable credentials in the coaching profession.  He has been a minister of the Gospel for over 38 years and feels a particular passion for coaching and mentoring leaders, especially in the local church.

"It is my desire as an executive coach to encourage and give inspiration to pastors and leaders in reaching their maximum potential," Dr. Christopher said. "My vision is to help churches and organizations be healthy and productive in fulfilling the Great Commission.  I feel a sense of accomplishment and contentment to know that I've made a difference in someone's life. It gives me great joy to know that I am encouraging someone to face reality and achieve their desired goals."

Dr. Christopher has been married to his wife, RaDonna, for 32 years. He has two grown children, Kaylan and Jeremy. He and wife currently reside in Bonham, Texas.
