Philosophy of Ministry:
God has called me to minister to and challenge the local church in fulfilling the Great Commission. I believe the local church should follow the example of the New Testament church. It was commissioned by Jesus to evangelize the world and to make disciples.
I believe it is important that the local church fulfill Christ's commission and commandments. The ministry of the New Testament church is to build godly character in her membership, which will in turn motivate the members to be faithful in their lifestyles and proactive in fulfilling the Great Commission. I believe the following points should always be present in the church:
I am convinced my ministry is to motivate and challenge pastors and church leaders to follow the inerrant and infallible Word of God, and to be better equipped to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ. When God called me to ministry it was to be an evangelist. However, throughout my ministry, I believe that coaching and mentoring pastors and church leaders has helped accomplish my passion for evangelism.
I've found that I can be evangelistic though being a pastor to pastors. Coaching and mentoring leaders allows me the privilege of reproducing the insights and expterise God had bestowed on me to others. Over time, I've felt that my ministry gifts have been enhanced by my ministry in denominational service.
This type of ministry gives me a close working relationship with pastors and churches on a daily basis. The opportunity I've had to be evangelistic and mission-oriented has confirmed my calling and desire to help strengthen existing churches, encourage new and difficult work, and equip church leadership to be proficient in fulfilling the Great Commission.
This calling is best summed up in my mission statement which is to coach and mentor leaders to reach their maximum potential! The end result is to coach and mentor leaders, congregations, teams and organizations that will be characterized by values such as compassion, humility, integrity, resourcefulness, servanthood along with a mission/purpose, a vision.
